1. Premium plan
Decode File offers one paid plan — Premium at ₹999/year. The plan is a one-time annual charge and does not auto-renew.
2. Refund window
You can request a full refund within 7 calendar days of the original payment, as long as one of the following is true:
- You have not downloaded the original PDF of any analysis.
- You have not downloaded the report PDF of any analysis.
- You have decoded three or fewer policies since upgrading.
These thresholds exist because the core value of the paid plan — clean PDF exports and the full clause-by-clause decode — is delivered in a way we cannot recall after it has been used. Feedback within the window is always welcome even if these thresholds are exceeded.
3. How to request a refund
- Email hello@decodefile.com from the address on your account, with subject line
Refund request. - Include the Razorpay
payment_idyou received in the receipt email (starts withpay_). - Tell us briefly why — it helps us improve the product, and it is not a hurdle to approval.
We respond within 2 working days. Approved refunds are processed through Razorpay and typically reach your original payment method within 5–10 working days, depending on your bank.
4. Partial refunds
Outside the 7-day window we do not issue partial refunds for unused time, because the annual plan is priced as a whole. If you feel a specific issue (a bug, downtime, a failed decode) deserves consideration, write to us — we review each case individually.
5. Cancellation
Since Premium does not auto-renew, no explicit cancellation is needed. If you want to stop using Decode File altogether, you can delete your account by emailing us and we will remove your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Chargebacks
If a disputed charge is raised without first contacting us, we will respond to it through Razorpay's dispute process. We'd much rather resolve it directly — email first, always.
